Hometown Roots Salon first opened its doors in 2018, and in 2022 our current owner, Kelsey, gave the space a fresh new chapter. From the start, our mission has been simple: create a salon that feels like home while delivering styles that make you feel your absolute best.
Located in the heart of Downtown Longview on bustling Commerce Avenue, we’ve grown alongside our community — leading with love, creativity, and plenty of good vibes. We can’t wait to welcome you in and get to know you.

Oh hi, I’m Kelsey — owner of Roots, lash + spray tan enthusiast, and Longview born-and-raised. I earned my esthetics license in 2019 and got my start at a local med spa before finding my way here. By 2021 I was part of the Roots family, and in 2022 I had the chance to take the salon into its next chapter, something I had dreamed of for years.
Since then, I’ve focused on two things: helping people feel good in their own skin, and building a salon family that feels like home. My vision for Roots has always been to create a safe, fun, and welcoming space. One where confidence grows, community thrives, and every client feels seen.
Outside the salon, I’m “mom” to my son Trax, who keeps me on my toes and makes me extra grateful for the small-town roots I’ve always cherished. Longview has been home all my life, and I try to carry that hometown feel into everything we do here at Roots.
